The West Haven Youth Soccer League will be accepting on-line registrations for the Spring season as of 1/1/2026 and holding in-person registration sessions on Saturdays 1/10/2026 and 1/17/2026 from 10AM – 3PM at the First Congregational Church on the Green.  Use the entrance on Campbell Avenue side.

ALL registrations processed AFTER the January 17^th registration are late and must include a LATE FEE of $10 until March 1^st.  The LATE FEE will become $20.00 after March 1^st.  Late fees cannot be waved (this includes coaches and sponsors).  In order to obtain more parity on teams for players born 1/1/2011 thru 12/31/2015 team placement will be based on team strength rather than player requests. For all other players we can consider requests for team placement ONLY for those players who register by January 17^th and only for teams which have not yet been filled.  After January 17^th, ALL team placements are on a first come first served basis ONLY.

On- Line Registration  

·        Go to our website www.WHYSL.org and click on LOGIN in the upper right-hand corner

·        If you have an existing account from previous seasons or for any player, then please use it to log in as it has all of the information that you have previously entered and you will not need to provide it again and if you have provided proof of age for your player a record of that is retained. 

·        If you do not have an existing account or choose to create a new one you will need to provide all information for all players – including a copy of their proof of age.

·        All new players, players who have not yet submitted their proof of age or for whom you have created a new account need to upload the proof of age (copy of a Birth certificate or passport).

·        Pictures need only be uploaded for coaches and players in the High School division.

·        Anyone who wishes to coach should also register at this time.

Credit/Debit card payment only is accepted online.  If you wish to pay by cash or check or are unable or unwilling to register on-line you should attend one of the registration sessions in January.  Please complete the registration process as described above up to the point of payment prior to coming to an in-person registration session.

The Spring registration fee is $50 for the 1^st child in a family, $45 for the 2^nd, $40 for the third, $-0- for all additional children in a family.  All players in the high school division will pay an additional fee of $35 per player at registration. Registration fees are non-refundable.  Our registration processing company adds an additional $2.80 processing fee to each order.  

Age groupings for the Season

If you know of other boys or girls, ages 5 (born before 1/1/2022) thru 19 (after 12/31/2006), who would like to play soccer, please let them know about the registration dates or on-line registration.  New players must provide a copy of their birth certificate or passport to register.

We need coaches at all levels.  Please consider volunteering.  No experience is necessary, and we provide coaching direction and assistance to all coaches.

The league will also be taking registrations for the TOPSoccer division at this time.  This program is designed for special needs players and is open to any child between the ages of 5 and 21 with any type of special need.  There is no registration fee for TOPSoccer players.

Players who were on Fall 2025 competition travel teams (U11 – U15) were registered for both the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 seasons and do not need to register again.  There are no competition team tryouts for the spring season.
